I have been a happy Auctiva user for over a year now, and selling in eBay for the last six years or so. My experience with eBay is that their motto is "if it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is." The revisions and policy changes have turned from a trickle of minor annoyances to a neverending avalanche of bullsh*t, the last one being the new insurance rules and how they want to gouge us (more!) in listing fees and FVF. Their next step will be - if the intentions I see in their latest poll are clear - to require insurance to be bought from eBay and no other. If there is a nickle or dime being gotten by any third party from eBay transactions, you can bet eBay is going to try and recover it.

I like Auctiva. The recent brouhaha over Auctiva going a fee based and the subsequent policy revisions shows that Auctiva is willing to listen and respond appropriately to customer wants & needs. I have a lot of time invested in Auctiva listings for eBay, and I really like the way Auctiva has the listings set up with profiles, templates, etc. I would like to see Auctiva start Auctiva auction site set up like eBay USED to be, i.e., run in a REASONABLE manner. eBay is going to cut Auctiva out of the action entirely sooner or later anyway.

Hey, Auctiva, how about it?

I would certainly switch. Ebay is getting worse and worse and I don't understand why they don't have another auction site that compares to them. Believe me i have been looking but haven't found anything to meet my needs. I am a very low priced item seller and sell in quanity. It is cheaper for me to refund money than to purchase insurance although i have very rarely had to do this. And I have stamps.com for my shipping needs. It would be great if Auctiva could handle all of it including the pay pal end.
