Why is it taking an incredibly long time for the select images window to come up? I have cleared cookis and used different computers and I sit here for 10 minutes waiting for that window to load each time. I have a broadband connection and I only have problems with this site. This is truly unacceptable. Always so many problems.

Find Product and Item Specific pages someimtes take even longer than that. I've been playing a lot of solitaire waiting for pages to load. Only this site is slow for me, others work fine.

I keep checking the boards to see if others are having problems with the slowness and figured it was just me since I did'nt see a bunch of current complaints.

Could it be weather related? Do you live in a part of the country that is getting hammered right now with snow or rain? Occasionally when we get the big freeze, and wind, and snow in our area, our internet gets reeeaaaalllly slow and spotty (sometimes it goes down altogether--maybe I should switch internet companies? lol.) But when the internet is running fine, I have no issues with the site or any others. I haven't experienced problems with the item specifics either. ?

This won't help you, but I haven't been having any issues with uploading pictures at all since I started here several months ago. I was just working on my new years listings and uploaded close to 50 pictures (200+kb each) in about a minute. Sorry you are having problems, though!


You might contact the support help and see if they know of any reason why the slowness isn't happening to everyone? Confused

ballonstones, I just checked and here locally in Chico the select image window is working fine...eg no delay in opening. That doesn't mean its not being slow to open for you though. If you are still having problems, suggest you open a support case which you can do here. http://www.auctiva.com/help/requesthelp.aspx#

There's a lot of different possible reasons why a given web page may open slowly for one person and not another & support might be able to help you figure it out.
