if you use a template the store window will match template and show differnt then your customied store window

In that case, where does my customised store window show up? and also how can I make my store front the same as my store window?

Thanks. So how do I get rid of the template? and will it then match?

Please could somebody tell me how to get rid of the the store template?
Also, I notce the thumbnails are not showing up most of the time.

hey sarah,

when you are making your listing on auctiva, there is a check-box near the 'template' section... you click it IF you want your store window to match your template. if you have customized your store window, and don't want it to match the template, UNCHECK that box. then you can have the template you want AND the cust. window you want. hope that helps!! let me know if you need something else!

edit//// as for your store front matching your window.. that's a lil harder. there are many store templates and a few have different color choices. they are not as customizable as the window. if you REALLY want them to match, i think your best bet is to come up with a storefront you like, then build your window colors around that. however, your window and store never appear together, so i personally think it's not really necessary. like in a real store, i think it's nice if your 'window' is more like a sample of what's in the store, rather than a miniature duplicate of the store. the store window IS seen with your auction, so i personally think it's more important for THOSE to match. just my opinion!

ps.. if your auction is already active, i don't think 'just' changing your saved listing will change the live auction. i have changed my window, but it has never shown up if my auction is already active. you'll either have to get the html to change the listing, or worry about it for the next one.

Thank you. I have just listed a new item, and now have by customised store window showing.
However, if I click the store window to show all items, it shows my store with a template (not matching ebay items) that is completely different. It is that I wish to change!

yeah, unfortunately, that's not as easy. there are only a handful of store templates. i assume you've seen them, but if you haven't, click on the 'store' tab, then on the left side of that page, under 'edit', click store template. as i said, tho, there aren't many options... w/ 'craftman's corner' and 'liquid' you can select from a few different colors, but that's about it. good luck!

No Im sorry your all wrong, hes/shes refering to auctiva store, not the store window, though you can match your window with you listing template, there is no exact way to match you Auctiva Store to you window, as with the listing template. The only way to match your Store with your window is to change you window. Otherwise you can request a new template to be made, which may or may not happen, now my Store has a black template, with orange flames, and my store window is blue, so what I did was just make the window black, with orange tezt, and highlight, which matches it with my store.

Now you can check my Store out, and my window out below, although my window may be different from how it is now,

er, actually i'm not wrong, i understood sarah, that's what i was talking about. i explained the same thing above in my edit, how she can match the window to the store, not the other way around. the templates i mentioned above are for the auctiva store, not the window.
