Hi there,

The personal store categories that I'm choosing in the auctiva lister aren't holding when it posts so eBay. For example I may select my personal category "Jewelry" but when it posts to eBay it's now in "Other" Items.

I thought maybe I'm not supposed to select a regular item category in addition to a store category, but Auctiva won't post the listing in this case, I get an error.

Next I wonder if it's because I'm using one of my master profile templates, but this doesn't seem likely.

I'm having to manually revise each listing once it posts to eBay in order to select my store categories.

Any advice in this area?

Thanks,
Dee

I think it takes up to a couple of hours for items to show up in their specific store categories when an item is listed. That is how it was for me. But eventually they showed up in the correct categories. Wait a while before you revise the next time and see if they show up correctly. I added a new store category once and added some items I already had up for auction and it took a little while for the change to take affect they went from the other items category to the correct category. I hope that helps. Thank-you. Smile

I got a reply from Auctiva saying this seemed to be a unique issue but what's weirder is they thought I hadn't created my listings thru Auctiva! My only thought on that was I had immediately done some revisions using ebay, one being that I removed the Auctiva references inside the listings that automatically pop up, still leaving the scrolling window and the supersize image links.

I replied back to them to mention this and so now suddenly my scrolling windows are mysteriously now working? I hope this is not Auctive being vindictive? But before I judge I'm going to wait for them to respond to a separate support case on that.

In any case with your advice I also waiting until this morning to see if the categories would correct them selves but still they reside in other Frown so I'm going correct all but one for Auctiva to continue investigating.

Thanks again,
Dee
