How do I "sync" my categories so that I have store categories in the auctiva item details ???

Do you have an ebay store? If yes, you need to update your store categories with ebays. Go to your account on Auctiva and go to "update store categories from ebay". Everytime you add a new category to your ebay store, you'll have to "update" them with Auctiva. I hope I have understood your question.

I did exactly this, and all was fine. I then went back to ebay to add more categories.
When I came back to Auctiva, to perform another update, that Update eBay Store Categories button was disabled.

I opened a case with Auctiva.
Their first engineer, just took guesses at the issue.
Their 2nd engineer clearly explained that you must log out, and relog in, in order for that button to become active a 2nd time. It's only active once per session.
