STORE WINGOW GALLERY NEWBIE HELP

Hi, I'm evaluating the store window gallery for my ebay listings. At the free price sounds like a good deal, but, I am having two issues.

1) only a few of my ebay listing items are showing up in the gallery, I thought it might take a few hours to update, but, even after overnight wait, still only some of the items are in the gallery. How do I make it scroll thru all the items ???

2) Is there any way to have the gallery only show items from the category that the listing is in??. For example, if I have an ebay store category of "Video", then in the gallery window of any items in this category I want to show only the items from this category. Same for other categories.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi leefromnj,

1) The store window is set to display 14 of your active listings at a time and is refreshed every 4 hours. Each time the store window refreshes, it is populated with another 14 of your current listings that are ending around the same time as the next auction of yours that is viewed. The store window is meant to display a selection of your active listings, whereas, if a customer clicks the link on the bottom right of your store window, he/she will be taken to your Auctiva store, which displays all of your ebay listings at any given time.

2) Currently, the only way you can control what goes in your store window is by making items hidden by clicking the "Store Items" link under the "Store" tab. Items that are made hidden will not be shown in your store window the next time it refreshes, which it does about every 4 hours. We will be adding more options to control what is displayed in the store window as part of our Phase II release, which is scheduled for May of 2007. However, I'm uncertain if the option you are asking about will be one of those.
