I have a css file and css script tags in my listing...but it seems auctiva strips those?

Auctiva will not strip CSS that are used "in line" so, in order for your style sheets to function properly, please enter them into your html code "in line".
An example of an "in line" CSS is "<td style='background: url("image.gif") repeat-x top left;'></td>"

I want to change the color of my links. So I put this code at the very top of my template page
<style>a.link{color:#666666;}</style>
Then in my <a href> I put class="link"
But when I update my template, the style tags disappear. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Great News...I found an online free tool that will automatically "inline" your "external" css....wheewww!!!
Thank God for my Obsession for finding info...it took me over two hours searching aimlessly for ways to manually do it and stumbled on to it...Happy days are here again!!!
Apparently, this tool was created to format emails because email systems are notorious for stripping the external style while permitting an inline...something I've never had to experience but am better for knowing it.
