Hi, everyone. Everytime that I try to list in a dress category it is telling me it is not valid. It gives me a blank screen for the subs and I can't list at all LOL. Anyone else having this problem?

Hello! Same problem here. PLEASE fix this! I'm trying to list a dress shirt and it tells me that I have to use a valid US catagory. I AM!
I saved the listing, went back into saved listings, selected the dress shirt one and hit Post. Looks like it went that way.
Hi all. I am having the same problem. Hopefully they will have it fixed by tonight, which is when I want my listings posted.
Oh yeah and I saved my listings too. Besides this little glitch I am really enjoying this service.
GRRRRRR.... this time it didn't work on a posting of used paperbacks. Catagory didn't meet validation. FIX THIS PLEASE! At least today it's letting me save before it kicks me out and makes me lose the listing!
Well mine is too, saying invalid category, I'm trying to lists books as of 2:54pm EST. Hopefully this will be fixed soon? Thanks to all who are working on it in advance

I am having the same problem - but it's with Disney Collectibles - not clothing - but saving it and going back didn't work

I just got a reply from Auctiva's cusomer service - I hope Mike doesn't mind me posting, but I thought it would help with all the people who didn't email support:
"When we were updating out categories, eBay timed out, replacing all of the categories in our database with nothing, which is the reason for the error. Our engineers are working on this problem and should have it resolved as soon as possible. In the mean time you will be unable to save or post listings"

It's working now! Auctiva sometimes has a few snags, but for the price, you really can't beat it and the customer service is always stellar!
Nope it is still not working for all categories. Some are working but most are not. The drop down stops at Specialties for me. I need toys lol. I just hope it will be fixed by tonight.
I sell stamps. Collectables was the closest category I could find. I hope someone finds my stamps in this category. If not I will cry.

We are having the same problem trying to list vintage fishing lures! They need to get this fixed fast!
All categories should be working as they are supposed to. This should also be the latest version of the categories eBay has. So, please let us know if you notice a category missing or any other problems.

It is aggravating to have these problems but they are all workable. If you find a category that will let you post your ad to ebay then do it. As soon as your listing has finished posting to Ebay then you can go to your just listed item and revise it. You can change the category then and you will be golden.
