Suggestions on how to use folders?

Hi all...
I'm trying to get myself organized and just wondered how some of you use the folders. I've thought of color-coding according to item, or perhaps by sales/didn't sell per month? Would love to hear your ideas!

Hi,

I sell disney pins so I organize mine by characters. I have my main characters (L&S, Tinkerbell, Malie, Fab 5) and then I have other folders like Attraction and Ride Pins. I feel this is much easier for myself.

That gives me an idea. Not that I've listed all that much yet, but I'm already getting lost in trying to read through them all. Color coding would be a quick way to identify different items. Thanks again.
