Supersize Images

I have just discovered the same problem. Can't find anyway around it. Is this everybody or should we file support requests?

I filed a support request, but the answer I got back was not helpful. I emailed again, we'll see what happens

Mine are the same way....file support requests.

I filed a support request and have heard back...at least they are aware of the problem and are working to correct it.

And I just discovered something else...if the auction layout has the pic on top, there is no supersize link. BUT if ALL the pics are either above or below the description, they will all have the link. So I guess this is only happening when our layouts are 'top & bottom'. (I added this info to my support request)

Good observation 8880. I discovered if you put the pics to the side they work fine, too. I think I'll try them that way.

Yep, my listings are all the same. I suppose it's a teething probablem since they upped the total number of images to 24.

If they fix it, will this fix live listings or just new listings? Should I file a support request to get my existing listings fixed?

My listings are scheduled for this evening and they're still showing up without the supersize option on the top pic...I would have to think that once they go live they will still be that way. I tried changing the layout and that worked fine on most of them, but there's one that would require scrolling side to side (hate that) so I'm just going to leave it alone. Might as well file the support request so they know more of us are having this issue

Anybody get any thing on a fix on this yet? I haven't gotten any word from support since Sep 27 adn it still doen't seem to be working.

I heard from support yesterday, they say it might take up to 10 days to correct

In the meantime, since I love using the top and bottom layout, I've uploaded the photo I'm using for the top twice, and then enter it as Image 1 and Image 2. This way the top photo can be enlarged as well in the listing and Auctiva gallery. The photo I use on the top is usually the one I want to highlight so it's important that it can be supersized. I've also added a little blurb to the description, "Click photos below to see supersize images."

Hopefully, people will read far enough to see that all the images can be enlarged. It's the only thing I can think to do until the issue is resolved.

I've been using the side format, which I kinda like. I considered uploading the pictures twice, but I figured they are having enough problems w/out me adding all those pics to the site, so I didn't. Anyway, I might keep the side format.

retrorave, that's a really good idea! BTW I had to smile while reading one of your auctions...you have the friendliest terms I've ever seen, good for you! No wonder your FB is perfect

mgllc - I had that thought as well, but decided since I only have 10 or 15 items listed each week it wouldn't be too much of a burden to the system. Hopefully, this will be a temporary situation. I do also keep my photos fairly small and regularly delete unused images to do my part. :::saluting Auctiva:::

8880 - Fanks!!! I try to keep it fun. Since writing text is not exactly my favorite part of being a seller, I like to mix it up. Sometimes I just bang out a plain, boring description, but if I'm in an especially good mood or if it's late and I'm tired, I get a little silly and just go with it! Those usually turn out to be my best efforts and make the work enjoyable. That's what it's all about, right?
