what the email means that Auctiva sent me. It told me that I earned 0.00 because I selected Auctiva insurance. Then it said that I needed to have $5.00 in the account. Doesn't it take it from Paypal?
Auctiva allows you to float your insurance purchases, but I think they will send you an invoice after you've bought $5 worth. Then you have to submit payment to them. It doesn't automatically deduct from PayPal.
biscuit, I just checked finally on the 'my account' page, and it does seem that Auctiva will get funds from my Paypal account after all. They offer two ways of paying, through paypal or thru credit card.
You can pay with PayPal, but I think you still have to do it manually. It doesn't deduct it from your PP account automatically... unless they've changed it lately.

Say, for example, you sell a widget and the buyer wants to insure the shipment. The item cost plus shipping is less than $50, so the buyer pays you an extra $1.65 to cover the insurance charge. Auctiva only charges you $1.40 for the insurance purchase, so the extra $.25 goes in your pocket.
