Taking Over Another Member's Listings?

Hi, all, I helped a friend join eBay, Auctiva, and then prepare a couple of listings. A few sold, a few didn't. I have a store, and she has asked me to list her old listings here on Auctiva in my Auctiva store. Is there any way to do that? The biggest problem I see is getting her photos from her listings to a new listing I would no doubt need to create from scratch. I can copy everything but the pictures. Is it possible? Thanks!

Hi lambsie - One way to get her photos into your new listing, assuming she has the photos saved on Auctiva, is to click the 'switch to externally hosted images' link at the bottom of the Image Selection section of the lister page. Then when you click 'select image' a pop-up window will appear with a box for entering an externally hosted URL. If you enter the URL of her photo, even though it is actually hosted by Auctiva, it should display in the listing. The URL can be found next of the thumbnail on her list of saved photos. Repeat the process for each photo.

An alternate method would be for her to email the photos to you so you can put them on your hard drive, and then upload them to Auctiva under your account. Then you can insert them into the listing in the normal way.

Go to Ebay, type in the item # of her closed listing. Open the listing and choose the largest size of the picture. Right click on it and select "save picture as" Give it a name and you now have it saved on your own computer.
