Ever since auctiva changed this New Format I have such a SLOW experience now trying to create auctions. The thing that slows me down is deleting OLD pictures from the "create simular auction" option. I create the new auction pretty quickly but when I try to delete the old pictures from the previous auction, it takes minutes not seconds like it used to on EACH picture! I'm sure they are working on it but is there any suggestions of browsers I could use RIGHT NOW until this is resolved so I can create these auctions faster? I've used version 6.0 of Internet Exporer and I have version 1.0 mozilla firefox right now. Should I just update one or the other of them or will that not make a difference? Or is there something else I could try and do all-together BESIDES walk away from this computer and kill myself? Anybody?? Thanks in advance!

OK, thanks for responding. The only problem is that I keep getting an error when I use IE, it says Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close, everytime I try to use it. I'm not sure why and I know this error has nothing to do with using auctiva because I get it anywhere I go on the internet. I will try updating IE because it is version 1.0 and hopefully that works. Thanks!
Thanks for all the help. I've gone ahead and uploaded the new IE 7.0. The pictures delete now without getting an error messages and is much much more fast. But I'm still getting the same "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close" error message. I don't have any viruses or spyware. I'm not sure why it is doing this. I'd love to use IE until this problem is resolved with auctiva or resolved through firefox, but now IE keeps closing on me just about every 2 minutes and I don't know why. I guess I should run a seperate discussion on this topic in the proper area, but does anyone know why IE keeps doing this to me? thanks.
Excellent!! I just uploaded Firefox 1.5 and EVERYTHING works great now. I've never liked IE and was always afraid of viruses and spyware getting through somehow which they always seemed to do until I got firefox and NEVER got 1 virus or spyware so I'm glad to say Firefox is #1!! Thanks for all your help and I will still take any suggestions you may have for the IE error. Thanks!

I'm not Rick, but if you don't mind an answer from me....
I've been using Firefox for over a year now (maybe closer to 1 1/2 years, can't remember)

It makes IE look sluggish, handicapped and like a kludge. I've had no probs with FF, it is better security-wise, is faster to load, has better tools built it and also there are a slug of great free add-ons (called plug-ins) to do a lot of extra things or regular things better and faster.

I haven't opened up IE for at least 6 months, and don't plan on it.

FF seems to work just fine with Auctiva - for me at least.

Does that help?
Please help!!!!!! I am having the same problems and even worst since the new Auctiva came online

When I go to saved listings and create a similar item. The first item is created without any problem. However when I go to create another similar item and save or Post. The entire window freezes. Then fails. If I use the same Internet Explorer window to try to connect to the home page Auctiva.com is doesn't work and any page i have open before this window can not reach auctiva.com. If I open a new Internet window it works. then I go throught the same process all over again. Its the same situation on several machines and different Internet connections
