Please help - I signed up for Photobucket a while ago and then could not access the site at all despite clearing cookies etc. So a week ago I signed up for Auctiva. Great, so I thought. But a couple of days ago I found I could not log into Auctiva.I've hunted round for help/advice and all I seem to get is to clear cookies//temp files. I've done that, Photobucket is now back up - but I want Auctiva back - please help. I am running IE6 if that makes a difference......

Hi,I am running XP with IE6 which has never given me any problems, I see more problems on here relating to IE7 than 6.

I think it is unlikely to be an Auctiva site problem because even when they are 'closed' for maintenance you see a page from thier site.

The Auctiva site seems to be ok at this time, if you paste this URL (below) into your IE address window does it still show an error screen :-

http://www.auctiva.com

If so that would infer to me that a security setting in your IE or firewall is blocking a necessary cookie or the like.

I presume you are using a PC running at 500MHz (like this one I am using) or greater with a broadband connection, as any slower may cause timeouts to occur and the same error message to come up.
