Hi. How can I put in my Terms of Sale? Right now they are listed under my description. Also, is there a place where I can put in my return policy, meaning NO RETURNS? I had to type it in each time when I was listing. When I go to the return page it only allows me to type in if I DO accept returns.

Thanks
Sara

Hi Sara!
Just to elaborate a bit more on what ChooCooGuy said: ((hey there Choo! Cool ))

If you go to the "Profiles" tab and select "Seller's Details"..then the window that appears will contain 5 separate sub-sections where you can specify your specific details for each section (eg. Payment, Shipping, Terms of Sale..etc). -- Now after you complete putting in all your specifications, then you should 'save' this new "seller's details" profile by first giving it a name (such as 'MyRegularSpecs')..and then clicking 'Save' for your new profile! This new "seller-details" profile is now a "set" of grouped components which is handled as a single special type of profile. (note: putting info into EVERY sub-section of a 'seller-details' profile is NOT required! -- you'll see why later)

The newly created special 'seller-details' profile (named: MyRegularSpecs) can then be loaded automatically into a listing (without having to retype everything) however... an "Auctiva-Template" must be utilized in order to do so. When you go to create a new listing, you are given the opportunity of selecting an Auctiva-Template to use (scroll down to the Blue Template-Selection box on the left) ..and then to select which 'Seller-Details' profile to have pre-loaded into the Template.( Note that it is possible to create several "Sellers-Details" profiles...but I suggest only making just one of these at first; to avoid initial confusion).

You should keep in mind that while creating a new listing,...it is not mandatory to use one of Auctiva's Templates...But choosing to do so provides a very efficient way to create listings which are quickly 'preloaded' with important information we usually want included in most or all of our listings.

Finally, as I mentioned early on... if you don't care to fill-in any given sub-section of the "Seller-Details" profile;( for example leaving out the 'about-us' part), ...then that particular sub-section is ignored by the Auctiva-Template and won't show up on the final listing page.

For additional information.. and perhaps a clearer explanation... go to the following link for 'Profiles' within the FAQ's and pay particular attention to the entry for "What is a Seller Details Profile?"

Why Thank You JeanieB !...such a sweet compliment! [ Did you know that Zebras can blush?! Red Face ]

Truth is...I had a heck-uvva-time myself...trying to get the "swing" of the 'Seller-Details" profile at first! So I can relate to Sara's confusion! But with perseverance, and the guiding help of several 'Masters' around here (like ChooChoo et. al. Wink )...I'm gradually gettn' the hang of things! -- Moreover,..nothing purifies one's grasp and understanding of something better...than the effort to explain it to another!

Cheers! Smile
