Why would your text change from bold to non bold from line to next line when typing? This happens pretty often and I was curious as to why? Also, I set my listing to be centered & save. But when I go back in that listing, or create a similar listing, the text is off to the left. This also happens pretty frequently. I have to go back into the saved listing & re-center the text. Why does this happen? I was in UAT testing for many years & can't seen to get out of the mind set. Thanks again for your help!

I have never got on well with the design editor for creating listing text and irritated by the mysterious font changes and colours that occur and then they look different in the preview, even wrong.

In frustration I have given up and uploaded the listing to eBay and it looks fine Confused

Probably ok if you are a HTML guru and paste the HTML in from somewhere else into the HTML editor.

As I am not even a HTML novice yet I create the text in MSWord and paste it into the design editor but never edit it there, go back to the original in Word, edit and repaste otherwise an even bigger mess occurs. I use MS IE6 and when I paste with ctrl-v I refuse cleanup, it all seems to go ok but it is full of MS specific HTML gobbledy-gook, not good but works for me.

Really must start using HTML Smile

I keep telling myself this and I really do enjoy it. It's just that the design editor is much less strain on the eyes going through all that coding. I've never understood why it adds all the extra font codes, even if you edit something not even related.

I like how it sounds that you're doing it, choo and will try it. I've tried it with notepad trying to let it default the font. Unfortunately, it seems to all be preset and stuck now. So what I can't figure out how to do is eliminate all of the font codes while keeping the other things I leave in each listing without going through all that code.

I'd love to get all my font the same. Then it gets into the shipping, payment, etc. details and will need to go change all of that. It's neverending. lol
Hi, I find this works in seller details too, but you may have to force the font at the beginning of the first line to ensure a default font is not picked up to override what you want.

Took a little effort to get it all together and the only way to be sure of the end result is seeing it on a live listing. However at least when it is all sorted out you can keep using it over and over again with the templates, details and profiles. I do like this tool set. Cool
