the private auction option

Hi, folk. A newbie here. Have searched but still havn't come up with the answer so I'm appealing for some help please. I want to list something private as I've seen in some ebay listings where only I and not others can view who's bidding for my item. Is this the function of putting a tick in the little box? If not, what happens when I tick the box? Thanks......

Hi lakota,

Welcome to Auctiva! In order to specify an auction as a private auction, you just need to check the box labeled "Private Auction" when creating that listing through Auctiva. This option is located directly above the "Select Template" button on the Auctiva lister page.
