Hi BroJames & fellow
Don't mind you asking, things can get overlooked when busy.
Yup, images were uploaded to Auctiva, listing created on Auctiva, images sourced from Auctiva selected, previewed, error checked & posted to eBay, all OK.
But when I originally created the listings they had gallery and eBay header pictures. Prior to posting I deleted the g & h pictures from some listings by resetting the selection box to 'select' and some by clicking on remove. I am now wondering whether the affected items were the result of setting the choice back to 'select' and not using remove.
Perhaps and may be perhaps some items of data underpinning the structure of the listing that we cannot see are left in an indeterminate state and confuses the eBay and Auctiva tools that process them. I need to check this out with a couple of cheap relists.
Auctiva support responded to my request for info very quickly again but ragarding this matter they are to investigate and get back to me again.
Whilst editing listings without g or h images 'thumbnails not avalable' appears in most folders so it could just be a fundamental oversight by Auctiva. Note that before Auctiva you would have had to use an eBay header picture to have any picture at all unless you were in to HTML (i.e. doing it the hardway).
So far the scrolling gallery lack of image problem has only appeared with subsequent relisting via eBay. But note that a relist via Auctiva just posts it again without allowing you to edit it so I would expect the same result as directly through ebay.
Anybody got any more thoughts ?
