I'm getting my hand back in on eBay after a long hiatus, eBay name Rorycloud. I launched a few test listings from both Vendio and Auctiva and notice under my "Items for sale" list that the Vendio listings have a very nice image enlarge feature. Roll the cursor over the word "Enlarge" (with a little magnifying glass) under location and you get an instant enlarged popup of the image. The test items I listed through Auctiva don't have that feature and I can't find where that option would be turned on. Anybody know?

My research suggests this feature is called "Gallery Plus" when launch is straight through eBay and there is a "Gallery Plus" option in the Auctiva one page lister with an additional eBay fee. But I'm assuming Vendio includes it free (??? -- at least haven't noticed an extra charge yet.)

It's quite a nice extra -- does Auctiva have this option? I know Auctiva and Vendio are now "sister" companies, though they remain separate entities with their own unique features.

Thanks for any feedback.

Hi RoryCloud,

Thanks for posting your question here. The feature you are referring to here does require that Gallery Plus by selected as your research suggested so all you should need to do to use this option in your Auctiva created listings is select Gallery Plus from the Marketing Tools section of our listing creation page.

I'm not quite sure how this feature ended up on the listings you posted through Vendio without you having to specifically select it because all of the eBay help pages I was able to find on the subject suggests that using the Gallery Plus option entails an additional fee though.

I hope this helps. If you post a listing through Auctiva with the Gallery Plus option selected and you do not end up seeing this feature on eBay, please contact our customer support team by mousing over the "Help" tab and selecting the "File Support Case" option.

Hi Mike, thanks for the reply.

I've discovered that eBay, in its infinite wisdom, allows for free Gallery Plus for four categories - Collectibles, Art, Antiques, and Pottery & Glass. (This is very poorly documented on eBay's fee schedule page - gotta hunt elsewhere to discover it.) It just so happened that the Auctiva listings I test-launched were not Collectibles and the Vendios were, hence the free Gallery Plus. I've checked Auctiva's listing page for those four categories and, sure enough, your "Estimate eBay Fees" button does show them as no extra fee, so everything's good!

Thanks again for the reply.
