Up to now I have opted to launch my auctions manually and not use the scheduled launch. I'm a bit confused about Auctiva's time zone setting. The other image hosting service I used was set up differently. Before I make a mistake, please advise. I live on the East Coast. If I want my auctions to START on the EAST COAST at 10:15PM (which is 7:15 PM PST) what do I set my TIME ZONE for? Do I use UTC 8:00 Pacific Time USA/Canada OR do I use UTC 5:00 Eastern Time USA/Canada. ThanksSmile Barb

Hi you should set your time zone to where you are in your case EST and then set to launch at 10:15 which will then be EST.

Word of caution try it with one listing first so you can be sure that multiples will launch ok. It is easy to forget to actually set it all up correctly especially if you get distracted. Once scheduled you can confirm the details in the scheduled folder and once posting has taken place an event message will confirm the posting or not. I have found that by scheduling within an hour of posting they don't always generate a posting event message.

However the best confirmation is what you see in your my eBay -> active listings.

If you are targeting your wares to suit another time zone work that out seperately otherwise you will get in a real mess e.g. setting your TZ to PST and forgetting later on. Smile
