Timeouts and page cannot be displayed

I am having trouble logging into the site and then when in a listing and I try and do a search for product by upc or name I get timeouts. To get logged in I have to goto the products page then it will let me log in. When trying from the main page, it will just timeout. Uninstalled all toolbars. I do have mcafee site advisor installed, think that could cause and issue?

Hi Mike - A recent poster also had timeout problems and discovered her problem was caused by using AOL. When she switched to IE, everything worked fine.

Thanks for the reply. I am using both IE and FireFox. I am work right now and I tried the same steps and it is working just fine. I will try it when I get home. If it is still not working I will start with my settings, just might be mcafee messing with things...

ok here is what I do know. I have 2 systems at home and both do not work. I notice that when I do the search on the "Search for a Product by UPC, Title, or Director" from work there is an applet? that says something about looking up the information on ebay. When I do it from home it is not there.

I have no idea where to start....
