Hi stardustUK,

Welcome to Auctiva! It is not possible to transfer images directly from eBay Picture Manager into your Auctiva account so, in order to accomplish this, you would need to download your images from your Picture Manager account onto your computer and then upload those images from your computer into your Auctiva account using one of the uploader that can be accessed by clicking the "Upload Images" link under the "Images" tab within your Auctiva account.

That being said, if you already have active listings that use images hosted in Picture Manager, editing those listings to use Auctiva hosted copies of those images instead would be a laborious task. I believe the easiest way to do so (which would still involve recreating each listing using Auctiva's listing tools), would be to revise each item via the following process:

1) Recreate the listing in Auctiva and click "Save". Since you will only be revising the item description, it is only necessary to fill out the “Item Details” section of the lister page.
2) Once you have finished, click the "Save" button.
3) Return to your Saved Listings page and click the <HTML> icon next to the listing.
4) Highlight and copy the HTML that appears in the pop-up window.
5) Visit the item on eBay and click the “Revise your item” link.
6) Scroll down about 1/3 the page to the “Description” section and click the "HTML" tab on the editor.
7 Delete the html that is already there, paste the copied html in its place, and save your changes.

If you are familiar with HTML, you could potentially upload the images in question into your Auctiva account and code references to the Auctiva hosted copied of those images into the description HTML of each listing using eBay's "Revise your Item" form. Once you upload an image into your Auctiva account, you can see the URL of that image by locating it on your Manage Images page, which can also be found under the "Images" tab within your Auctiva account.

If you have any other questions regarding your Auctiva account, please feel free to contact our customer support team using the web form on the following page of our site: http://www.auctiva.com/help/requesthelp.aspx

Hi,

I'll add one suggestion to Mike's recommendation. If you have a very large library of images, consider creating and uploading to Folders for storage at Auctiva. That might help organize them for easier selection / location. See the Manage Image Folders link at the main Images tab page. Note, you can both NAME and COLOR CODE the folders for ease of use.

Hope that suggestion helps.
