I am considering transferring my sales posting from Vendio to Auctiva, since you offer the features I'm interested in for free. (Shoulda come here first, eh? ;-) ) I have an eBay store with about forty listings. When I make the transfer, I will close my Vendio account.

Vendio imposes its own templates and scrolling store window. I know their store window, in particular, will be disabled but will still appear when the Vendio account is closed. Obviously I don't want the extraneous visual junk on my screens, particularly since Auctiva has its own windows.

Is it better that I close out all my store items and relist them through Auctiva, or will Auctiva's software take care of the issue without my intervention?

Hi Dennis,

Welcome to Auctiva!

I'm not precisely sure how Vendio's store window works. If it is similar to Auctiva's, you may be able to remove it from your current listings by removing the Vendio HTML code fro your item descriptions using eBay's "Revise your Item" form. You may want to contact Vendio's customer support department for further information on whether that's a possibility.

If it is NOT possible to remove the Vendio store window from your current listings then cancelling your store items and relisting them through Auctiva may be the way to go to avoid having the dead Vendio windows in your listings.

For further assistance with this matter, please file a support request using the appropriate link on our help page:
