Trying to move "closed" listings into a custom created folder

Everytime I move an item into my newly created folder, it is highlighted with the color I selected, but then nothing is in the folder?

How can something so fundamental not work?

I'm not currently aware of any technical problems that would account for this behavior, so this is certainly something we'd like to investigate further.
