Hi rxcoinsca,
Thanks for posting your question here. I reviewed your account and confirmed that it is configured that your images can be stored with dimensions up to 1920 x 1440 px and, based on the error message you mentioned receiving, I believe you must have been trying to resize the image in question in such a manner that would change the height to greater than 1440 px.
You should be able to successfully update the images stored in your Auctiva account to have widths of 1600 px in general but, if you leave the “Constrain Proportions” option that is enabled by default selected, the system will also attempt to change the height proportionally.
For example, if an image is not a great deal wider than it is tall, attempting to adjust the width to 1600 px with the “Contrain Proportions” option selected would likely cause the system to try and change the height to be greater than 1600 px as well.
You could potentially prevent this by deselecting the “Constrain Proportions” option but, unless your images are very close to square, resizing your images in such a manner may change the width/height ratio in such a manner that would compromise the integrity of the image.
I hope this helps clear things up. If you need any further assistance with this, please feel free to contact our Customer Support team directly from under the “Help” tab within your account and we will be happy to continue working with you.
