Two questions...

I've just discovered Auctiva & have 2 questions before I get started w/ the site.

1. How does the claim process work? Is there a link somewhere on the Auctiva site? Who initiates the claim? To whom is the claim settlement paid? Does the insurance act exactly as that purchased from the shipper?

2. I have an account alert stating that the account registration necessary for alerts failed. How do I resubmit this? I have gone to alerts & clicked on the failed alert. It just brings me to the main My Account page.

You can access the insurance information VIA the help page and clicking on shipping - How do I file a claim? http://www.auctiva.com/free-auction-software-help/help.aspx
As for your other question I am unsure. I would suggest filing a support request to resolve this issue by clicking the link below http://www.auctiva.com/help/requesthelp.aspx
