Uber-frustrating API error - Can't post

I've recieved the following error notification twice on the same batch of 30+ scheduled listings:

API Error

Either your Description, Location, or Checkout Instructions appear to have Java script in it according to eBay. eBay is very strict about anything that looks like it may be Java script. Try checking your description for parenthesis and try posting without them if they do exist.

The first time around, I'm willing to accept that I did something wrong. However, after error checking each listing individually and re-scheduling, all but one of the listings returned the same error.

All of the listings have been created on old listings (I have posted hundreds of auctions successfully with Auctiva and have never before received an error message), so I'm completely baffled by this.

What's the deal? Please help!

Hi gfajuri,

I reviewed your account and found that these listings were rejected by eBay because your descriptions contain Javascript code that is not allowed by eBay policy. The "Error Check" feature only makes sure that all the required fields are filled in and cannot pick up on eBay policy violations such as this.

I just created a saved listing within your Auctiva account entitled "API Error - Objectionable Javascript". If you open this listing and look in the description editor, you will see the Javascript code contained within your descriptions that is causing eBay to reject your posting attempts. If you remove all instances of that code from the bottom of the HTML description in each of these listings, you should then be able to post them successfully.

Mike,

Thanks. I deleted the extraneous code and have re-scheduled the auctions again.

Any idea how this code appeared in my listings? I don't want to have the same problem again.
