Hi Community,

To those of you who are experiencing difficulties with images not loading in the store window...The reason for this is because we had an image server go down, which has caused the speed at which images are served into the store window to decrease dramatically. Consequently, many images are timing out when they are loading, causing the message loading image to be continually displayed. We are in the process of installing a brand new image server and we should have it up and running smooth by the end of the week. Once we have the appropriate images transferred onto the new file server, store window images should be loading quickly again.

We apologize for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience with regard to this matter.

Smile We need a clapping hands smilely. Thank you for the update, thats great to hear.
Thank G*D this happened long enough after "the move" that the 'natives' don't seem to be sharpening their spears too much! Still, it just had to kick right after eBay's little additem glitch(Well that's Mr. Murphy for 'ya).

I'm sure Jeff and Bill have the Auctiva Armada fast on the case.

Nonetheless, there is NOWHERE else I'd rather be than here at Auctiva(well...maybe Kuaui but thats 14 hrs. away).

Jeff & Co.:
I've been around that proverbial block(once or twice) so I speak from experience when I say that it is a rare thing to find an organization as yours. One where, despite growth and hopefully success, the CEO is accessible and 'present' on the forums...most notably in a crisis. You didn't ask anyone else to take the heat...that's REAL CHARACTER and lends itself well to the title of Chief Executive Officer!

Your integrity, determination and work ethic are evident to myself and others on the forums, as well I'm sure, to those who you work with(at least the one's with any foresight, intelligence and ambition).

You simply cannot ask for more than that in a 'Partner' for our e-commerce futures[that AND unbreakable image servers ;-)].

I don't know if Jeff will ever see this and I apologize that this is not the thread for the Auctiva Fan Club but, I honestly logged in to find out about the missing images on the store windows.

Anyhow...THANK YOU! to Jeff, Bill, Mike and EVERYONE else unnamed at Auctiva for making this part of my life a little easier! Jeff, if you ever get to South Jersey the Jack & Coke is on me.
Hi Community,

We are aware that store window images are loading slower than necessary, many of which are timing out, causing just "Loading Image" to be displayed in place of the store window image.

Our engineering team is aware of this issue and will have it resolved as soon as possible but, at this point, I don't have a time estimate.

We appreciate everyone's continued patience.

Hi Community,

The store window should be loading for everyone now. If you store window images are still not loading, please try clearing your cache via the following process:

In Internet Explorer go to the Tools menu, click the Internet Options menu item, then click the "Delete Files" and "Delete Cookies" buttons.

In Firefox, go to Tools -> Clear Private Data -> Check Cache and Cookies -> Clear Private Data Now.

Remember to close all browser windows but one while clearing your cache.

While, the store window images are loading for all accounts on our end, we are still receiving cases stating that some store window images are not loading, which leads me to believe images are still timing out for some users.

We will be installing a some more image file servers next week, which should help to alleviate this issue for all. Anyway, if your store window images aren't loading on your computer, be assured that they are loading on our end, so they are likely loading for most of your customers as well.

-Mike
