I've been trying to upload images for days, maybe even weeks. It never gets uploaded. Tried it in firefox, it just goes through the motion and comes back to the same page. Tried IE 7.0 and got an error "sending information to the server failed with error code 12031. uploading has been aborted". Updated Mozilla and IE, added to trusted sites. I've uploaded several pics in the past and used it with 0 problems. Any help from the users would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

This seems to be a browser issue at your end. I would request you to clear your Cache, Temporary Internet Files and Cookies.

Please complete the following steps:

1. Close all applications and Reboot your computer.
2. Open Internet Explorer
3. Click on Tools at the top, then on Internet Options
4. Click on the General Tab
5. Under Temporary Internet Files Heading - Click on "Delete Files"
6. Click on Security Tab - Click "Default Level"
7. Click on the Privacy Tab - Click "Default" - Click "Sites" Button - Type auctiva.com in the box and then click "Allow"
8. On Privacy Tab under Pop-Up Blocker - Click "Settings" - type auctiva.com - click "Add"
9. Click on Advanced Tab - Click "Restore Defaults"
10. Click "Apply" at the bottom - Click "Ok"

Please disable any pop-up blockers, or tool bars that contain pop-up blockers. If you are using the eBay tool bar, please un-install or disable that as well. If you are using a firewall, temporarily disable that as well. Uninstall your browser plugins, internet security products.

In case you have any further queries then please revert back to us.

Thank you,
Auctiva Support
Hi tonyferr, in what stage of the process do you receive the message "THE PAGE CAN NOT BE DISPLAYED".

This as support suggests is a browser 'related' problem and can occur when communication between your browser and a web server fails. It refers to the page on that server you want to access not being available.

This can occur through many reasons including cookie blocking, a slow connection causing a time out, corruption of requested page address and simply that the server you are trying to access is down or too busy. Frown

I THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP TONY
Hi, Tony there are so many hardware and software configurations by including that information in a help request means an appropriate person can quickly help you rather than ask for the details and get back to you another day.

Error messages and the like vary in lack of information between applications and operating systems. I presume are using Windows XP ?

Anyway, file size and format no problem so if you are using XP why not use Auctiva's copy and paste uploader for use with IE ?
HI,CHOO CHOO,I tried it and to my surprise it worked, but I,m still having a problem.I tried uploading from the whole folder it said folder to large.I then picked 5 different ones the only one that loaded was the first one on top this I didn,t pick.I then tried to load one again the top one loaded again. Can you please tell me how I can load more then one and also using the folder if I can?
I appreciate all the help you can give me. I THANK YOU TONY
HI CHOO CHOO I,m back I just remembered about the tutorials at 71 my memory is getting worst.I went there hoping to get the information I need. But as soon as it came on I knew it wouldn,t help me.Not only it is to fast for me I woun,t be able to remember what he said. So I hope you can help me I will greatly apreciate it. THANKS TONY
Hi Tony, a few questions

1) How many items were in the folder on your PC.

I usually keep only 20 listings worth of images at a time in one folder both on my PC and at Auctiva otherwise it all gets rather messy and disorganised.

2) How are you selecting multiple files ?

3) How are you 'pasting' them into the multiple image uploader for IE. ?
