Universal Postal Code (UPC) into Listing

If ebay allows us to enter a upc into all categories now, then auctiva should have that capability too. I thought ebay only had that available for mostly electronics and books/dvds. Maybe you enter it after you have selected the category, and if it has a "Find product" link you can put it there? I don't sell many items that require using the ebay catalog, so I'm not much help, sorry!

Well I've heard that the UPC will increase the visibility of your listing if entered in the listing on eBay. However, Auctiva doesn't allow anywhere to enter it when creating listings. It does have a "Find Product" on certain categories that allow you to enter the UPC but the categories I am using do not have a "Find Product" choice. I also would not be wanting to find the product but rather just enter it in for increased visibility. I can go into eBay and revise my listings and enter the UPC there but that would be much more time consuming than I would like. I am asking Auctiva if they do have that option or would they be making that option available in the near future?

I have been wondering same thing. Ebay has called me several times mentioning this and asking if I use it, they are little surprised when I tell them auctiva does not offer it that I know of. They did say some people put in UPC because it is easier than muddling around for exact name someone may put on. I have waited to list some items that this may be used on hoping auctiva will get it.

Please do not feel "if we ignore them they will go away". . .as sometimes wishes do come true.

Where I live one of big banking centers (oh, excuse me what use to be banking center). They ignored them and znap they went away!! So did the jobs in this area...so .. be careful what you wish for!

Ignoring issue is becoming as much of an irritation as slow listing.
