Uploading images is soooo sloooow

The new image uploader is (and has been) so slow in both Autiva and Auctiva Commerce that I gave up listing more items. The aggravating record to date is 11 minutes to upload 5 images from start to finish!!!!! It happenned on 3 different computers, one of them brand new at my friend's store ( I am expecting to be told that my computer is at fault).

Hi,

That's actually quit a different result than I've been experiencing. I've been able to transfer 32 images in about 8 minutes. Those images were initially about 1MB in size and compressed to about 111KB by the uploader.

What type of Internet Service Provider are you using and have you checked your Inbound service rate? I'm on a Cable ISP in Columbus. My Inbound service rate hovers around the 450 - 500 kbps rate.

Using the San Francisco server is probably a good geographical approximation of Auctiva's server.

What are your image sizes before and after transfer?
