I'm sorry, but apparently I am missing something so very obvious. I want to transfer some images that I have in my photobucket account so that they appear with my other ebay images in auctiva. I read through all the posts here first, but I didn't see the basic problem I'm having. (I do not wish to host the pictures from photobucket) ... I tried the drag and drop feature, but nothing happened. Then, I copied the url under the picture in photobucket and manually pasted it, and chose UPload - still no action. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Otherwise, I will copy the pics to my hdrive from photobucket and upload them, which has been working before, but that seems pretty wasteful in time.

Hi Kittieciao,

I had the same question - this is what you do
you copy the URL like you did on ebay BUT on auctiva when you are creating your listing and
selecting/inputting your images, just below that is something that says
"Use externally hosted images" Make sure that is selected.
and then paste like you did in ebay - SIMPLE-
I was so happy when I found that out!

Hi fabulous - You are correct, if you want to externally host your image, that is definitely the way to do it. However, since Kittieciao does not wish to host from PhotoBucket, I'm afraid she is going to have to copy the image(s) to her PC first, then upload to Auctiva as Suthrnjewl suggests. Unfortunately, this is the only way to get the pics stored on Auctiva's server and hosted by Auctiva. Smile
