Vista Help!

Hi! I haven't had this exact problem, but I have had problems with other sites. I just recently bought a new comp. with vista. I just simply went into my help on the computer and chatted with a tech person. They told me to do something about yahoo or something like that and my problems have been cured.

GRRR just one more stupid thing to add to the list that Vista does!

I am having the same problem, although it has only just recently (like in the last 2-4 days) happened.

Maybe they have updated Auctiva recently which Vista isn't supporting too well.

I thought I would share my ticket resolution with you that I got from Auctiva.

I will just let you know that I didn't need to do all of this. I just did points 3, 8 & 10 and am no longer having problems.

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing such difficulties. Here are a few measures you can try that may solve your problem:

1. Close all applications and Reboot your computer.
2. Open Internet Explorer.
3. Click on Tools at the top, then on Internet Options.
4. Click on the General Tab.
5. Under Temporary Internet Files Heading - Click on “Delete Files”.
6. Click on Security Tab - Click “Default Level”.
7. Click on the Privacy Tab - Click “Default” - Click “Sites” Button - Type auctiva.com in the box and then click “Allow”.
8. On Privacy Tab under Pop-Up Blocker - Click “Settings” - type auctiva.com - click “Add”.
9. Click on Advanced Tab - Click “Restore Defaults”.
10. Click “Apply” at the bottom - Click “Ok”.

After making these adjustments, close your IE 7.0 web browser and re-open it for the new settings to take effect.

Please disable any pop-up blockers, or tool bars that contain pop-up blockers. If you are using the eBay tool bar, please un-install or disable that as well.
