What do you think you accomplish when you put the words on our showcase "I have no sales for sale right now. Please come back later". What's wrong with using the word "Updating" or "Please Excuse Our Construction" or something to indicate the person who's site they are still visiting is still in business while you are updating your photos. Vendio uses words to indicate that they are updating and will be back momentarily. Would it be a problem to implement this sort of thing? It's a waste of time to put in a suppot form. By the time you finish, it's back up and running, but surely you must consider how much damage you are doing to your clients in the mean time?

Hello leahrlw,

You can change the text that appears when the store window is empty at Auctiva -> Store -> Store Window -> Edit Store Window.

Yes, we consider the effects on our clients and we are sorry for any inconveniences caused but we only do maintenance during the day when it's absolutely necessary...the only reason we would ever conduct unscheduled maintenance is for the sake of our clients. The site will be up and running again soon=)
