I get that message too when I use either Opera or Sea Monkey browsers. I reported it to Auctiva as opera USED to work. I was told they don't support those two browsers. Too bad as both were extremely fast for doing Auctiva listings, unlike any of the other browsers. I now use Chrome for Auctiva and it is quite slow. Then again, slowness has been an issue since they created their online listing software.
Hi dutchman48,

Thanks for posting your observation here. I just checked in with our engineering team about the error you mentioned in your post and am pleased to report that we have some changes planned for an upcoming site update that should alleviate the problem, although I'm not sure exactly when that will be at this point.

Some of these XML parsing errors that have been reported were specific to a couple older versions of Firefox so, if anyone receiving these errors is not already using the latest version of Firefox (3.6.12), there is a possibility the errors can be alleviated by udating to the latest version of Firefox from: http://www.mozilla.com

If you need any further assistance with your account, please feel free to contact our customer support team by mousing over the "Help" tab within your account and selecting the "File Support Case" option.

-Mike
