What is "Additional Item Cost"?

I did a listing yesterday. Saved to preview. I found that in Shipping, it says:

Shipping Cost
£1.98
Each Additional Item
£0.00
Services Available
Royal Mail 2nd Class Standard
Available To
United Kingdom Only

What is this? I do not supply this service. I left it blank last time, but I'm not sure weather it is right.

Hello,

The "Additional Item Cost" field is used if you are creating a fixed price or store listing with a quantity greater than 1, and would like to offer reduced shipping charges if a buyer purchases more than 1.

Leaving that field blank is the right thing to do. If you want to confirm you have everything filled out correctly, feel free to file a support case using the appropriate link on our help page and our support staff will assist you.
