What Is The Token For?

Hi There,

Hope you guys had a great move!?

Hey I was trying to turn off the scrolling window in my listings. I'm also doing a face lift and am revising everyone of them anyway and taking that out. I just got this minimalist bug!

I was wondering if you (auctiva) would mind it if I bought insurance from you still and used the picture hosting service, without using the gallery etc..

Also can I do those two things without the token...cause I think I removed that without really knowing what it was for?

I can still sign in and everything so I'm thinking I don't need the token unless I was using the gallery or checkout as well?

You must use the token. This enables information to flow from ebay to auctiva and vice versa. As for the picture hosting, you can turn off the "gallery" option in the settings in "my account". The token is used instead of providing auctiva your ebay username and password.

It is definately possible to turn off the scrolling gallery as I have done it myself on occasion.

Note that turning off the Store Window will not remove it from your current listings it will just stop it from being added to anymore of your listings

Exactly, same goes for the auctiva checkout. Tuirning the option off only affects newly posted listings, not current listings that are running on ebay.
