Hi,
It should work just fine! If you have uploaded the gif and saved it in one of your files then when you are doing your listings or template just enter you gif using the Auctiva image insert button next to the user Links button on you editor. That should be that it should work just fine I have gifs on mine and they work well. Hope this has been of some help
Cheers and good luck!
Cool
Hi AL,

I just placed that image code into one of my listings and I did not receive that error message. That error message means that there is an image in your description that is not hosted on the web.

Try clicking on "Switch to text mode" then hold CTRL and press the "F" key. Then, enter "C:" in the find field and click the "Find" button and see if anything becomes highlighted. If it does, then the image for which the "C:" in the location becomes highlightes, that's the culprit.

How can this .jpg show using Auctiva but not be in one of my image folders.

If I want to add this .jpg then I have to list the auction and then revise it through ebay.

I don't understand why Auctiva will not accept it whereas Ebay will when I revise it. Shouldn't I get some kind of error message from them as well?
Mike ... same results even after I tried your suggestion as nothing highlighted. My ,jpg showed up just fine when I switched to Text and/or when I used Preview.

However when I tried to Post & Save it came back to the lising page saying,

"ERROR - Your ad was saved but not posted. The description contains one or more deleted images. Please check your description, remove these images, and try again."

When it came back up all the information for the auction was still intact except the description box as it was empty.

I tried to file a support claim but it would not go through saying there are web application error so apparently it does not like this ,jpg neither.

I also tried searching for it in my image folders but it is not there as I was going to transfer it to a different location with a different host and see if it would work using their location.

So any other suggestions?
Okay ... I finally figured out how to use this .jpg. First I went to the saved file and deleted it from the description. Then I took the this .jpg and copied and pasted it to a html practice board. There I left clicked and did a save to my one of picture folders where I uploaded to my one of my ftp sites. After that I added the img scr to my description along with it's new path and bingo it works!!
