So true...was looking for an item with 1 to 2 day ship time in December. Had to email seller first to find location. Many times auction ended before I receive a reply and many times for less then I was willing to pay (sellers loss). One auction said local pick-up only and said NY. Well NY is a big state. I emailed him, found out he was in the next town. I bought immediatly.
I made the mistake of buying my husband an Xbox 360 game without emailing to ask location, as it said the name of their company as the location name. When I received the game, much much later, it turned out that it was a PAL version of the game (means it can only be played on Asian systems etc...USA is NTSC). So not only did I wait forever but I had a game I will never be able to use. Now when I order things, not only do I check location, but on video games I also check to see if they checked PAL or NTSC...a lot of people don't bother to click either and therefore lose my business immediately.
