I have a couple of questions. Like Neal I was confused about the listing. The one thing I do not understand is that 6 hours are lost. I wanted my listings to start at 8:00pm EST, Ebay uses PST and Auctiva uses PDT. Keeping the 6 hour delay in mind I would post my listing at 1:00pm so they would show up at the time I normally wanted. Well this backfired on me, they ended at the 1:00 listing time. So in essence we are losing 6 hours of viewing time. Any sugesstion?
Next if I want my listing time to start at 7:00 pm EST, what time do I need to post on Auctiva?

Thanks so much for your help!

Hi T.J.
First of all, Auctiva is on PST, same as Ebay and I don't think there's a way to change that. Cant change it on Ebay either. What you CAN do is go to any ebay page, all the way down at the very bottom left is a small link that says 'official ebay time' which will show what states are in what time zone, so you'll know exactly how much time to add or subtract from your listing start time.

There's not exactly a 6 hour delay per se...It can be anywhere from 1 to 12 hours, just depends. Whenever you start your auctions, they will always end exactly 7 days from that time. If you want them to end at 7 pm, list (or schedule) them for 7 pm.

I'm in Illinois, Ebay (California) is 2 hours earlier than me. If I want my listings to end at 7 pm PST I list them for 9 pm my time. And don't forget to go to your account preferences and check the little box for adjusting to daylight savings time. That time change messes everyone up Wink
