I know a lot of people over at SD were hooked up with eCrater.com for a free web-store site. There was another that somebody mentioned on their boards over there that I forgot to bookmark. The main thing that sticks out in my mind was that it gave the customer a chance to make you an offer on the stuff you had listed there. You could basically make a counter-offer, accept theirs, tell them to go pound sand, etc. All this is leading up to this question: What the heck was the name of that website? Anybody SD refugees remember?

Thanks,
CB

Experience? Yep!
Sold two items in one years time with them.
And the offers were paltry at best. <blech>

The handy thing about them though is they have the grabber that will bring your auctions from ebay over to IOffer and you can tweak from there. So it wasn't like I had to sit there and make new auctions.

I still come up under Google searches as selling there even though it's been over a year that I've not had anything for sale there. So the search engines do pick up the items there.

If you need help..lemme know! But it's easy as all get out.

I've found success also selling locally on Yahoo Groups. Plus there's always craigslist but I'm too far outta the way for the most part. Might work for you!

Good Luck,

Google both, join, learn and do.

Best of all, do it all for free. Cool

I'm trying it out as we speak. Not completely set up yet. I sure wish they charged for it. Wink

Oh you devil you!
You changed the extra sexy pic of you. That black eye your wife gave you with the frying pan was oh so alluring! <wink>

But the half-nekkid one from the waist up was alluring, too.

This one doesn't show the better side, remember it's the right profile that works the best.

I still miss HG's first pic. <smile> Anybody else remember that one? He was working at his desk and looking oh so inviting. <smile>

IOffer.com?

That might have been it. Whether is is or not, it looks interesting. Has anyone had any experience with it?

I have sold very little on Ioffer.com, I sold $7.50 on Ioffer compared to the $1514.00 sold on Ebay in one month. The boards seem to have more fighting going on than anything else. I do have a few things that are still sitting there. They also have more handbags for sale than anything else and tons of SMC merchandise (sorry SMC, no pun intended)

Ebay has the most traffic, Ioffer has very little. I had things posted on Ioffer for months and no offers switched it to Ebay and it all sold in one week.

The members of Ioffer blame the sellers when things don't sell, but, it boils down to traffic and they don't have enough.

As one member told me its boils down to no traffic and those that come want garage sale prices. The only thing it has going for it is the fees are less. I will am willing to pay more as long as the items sell.

Are there any others?
