Still learning to navigate Auctiva. Where do I put BSB & Acc. number so they don't show on listing pages only in check out. Do they go in seller profile or elsewhere? Thank you.
I don't use my bank account, I only use credit cards, but if I'm not mistaken, you need to set that up in Paypal. I have never had to give Auctiva any CC numbers or banking info...
Thank you both for answering. I don't want my bank details in my listing. As I only intend to sell within Australia until I'm more familiar with how everything works I would prefer to be paid by bank deposit. I thought I'd need to put those details somewhere so buyers could pay me. Thanks. Jude
Hi Jude you would be better off just accepting cheques if you do not want to use PayPal the thought of giving complete strangers even a buyer a bank account number really is asking for trouble.
Some scammers will just bid for things just to get e-mail addesses for spamming purposes with disposable ebay accounts, don't help them get even more information.
Hi Jude, just read your post, I'm a newbie also. I use bank deposit express when selling, have used Paypal but I don't sell heaps and usually not alot of money involved so I just found paypal fees too expensive (others thoughts on fees??). I've never had any trouble having my bank details displayed in checkout...anyway as your bank details should be on file with ebay I'm assuming that you just check the "show my bank account details box" when doing your listing, that's what I've just done - hope it works!!
