Why are my Auctiva hits different from my Ebay hits?

Hi

I notice you have not received an answer.. so thought I may throw this out there. It "could" be that one shows count each time a person clicks your item and maybe the other clicks once per IP address or person???

I.e. . one could be if I click on your item today say 2 times at spread out times and then tomorrow I peek back 3 spread out times that could possibly count as 5 counts.

Other may count all of my peeks as one in the count.

This is just a stab. . . someone else may know for sure.

They use different counters. Even within Auctiva the hit counter is different than when you click on the sellathon counter if you have that activated.

As to which of the three is accurate...hard to tell.

Also if you are viewing the item or editing some counters will count your visits and others wont. I have never seen any two match up.
