Hi, good question and the answer depends on personal preferences, and mine are (not necesarily in order of importance just off the top of my head) :-
1) Free image hosting
2) scrolling gallery
3) Auctiva store front - do not need gallery pictures with cheap items that do not require pictures as the scrolling gallery and Auctiva store will use header pictures.
4) have not used TL since TL2, any advantages it had were minimal compared with the seller detail, profiles and templates available FOC here. These allowing rapid generic listing creation in comparison to TL once I had spent the time setting up all the components. A worthwhile time investment.
5) Free scheduling - and I look forward to being able to schedule relists.
I do find it convenient to keep an eBay storefront, especially whilst Auctiva's store cannot support custom categories. It (eBay store subs) also allows modest customisation of the listings and invoices but once again perhaps I should take a breather and re-assess, but the custom store category feature is something I must have on the Auctiva store.
Also I use eBay checkout but that is under review in favour of Auctiva's but I am not sure how well it works for us in the UK, (perhaps some one can tell me !)
So, it depends on you, your wares (including the volume of) and your intended buyers as to whether it is best for you !
