Why can't I upload photos~says I need to upgrade acct.

I'm getting the same error.

"You are not allowed to perform the selected action.
Your account standing does not allow this.

Please upgrade your account so that we can provide you with smooth transitions within our site."

I've selected the 9.95/month flat rate plan and I'm under the 1GB storage capacity I have pictures that I need to upload to complete some listings.

I hope this isn't a glimpse of what the site is going to be like after they have started charging for it

I am getting the same message & I have also selected a plan. Kinda hard to justify purchasing a plan when it doesn't let you use the service..

I have opened a support request regarding this issue, I will update this thread once I hear back.

Same thing happened to me, I went through the slow loader and it worked.

I had the same message on Saturday (I had already paid $180 up front)while trying to upload pics to listings.
MY workaround was to upload to the Auctiva website FIRST and then add them to the listings. But I had to do it through IE, it wouldn't work at all through FF.

this error is happening when attempting to upload using Auctiva Uploader. I have over 200 pics to upload so the basic uploader will not be a viable option for me. I am using FireFox, but I will try IE and see if that makes a difference.

Well, just for kicks, I tried using the auctiva uploader for my images and got all of them uploaded without any problems. Whatever it was is fixed now.

The problem ISNT fixed. Im experiencing the same issue with the first listing on the 'new and improved' setup.

Same here. I can't upload. The support claims the problem is on my end so that tells you how tuned in they are. They said send them the pictures and they would upload them. Not a real good solution.

same with me, I have the 9.99 plan, am using about 17 MB, SUPPOSED TO GET 1GB, and it says I need to upgrade, what the f...?

Looks like they never did any Bata Testing on the sign up system. There is a problem that when you put in your information you then have to pick a plan even though you picked the plan first.

Support said they would set it up from there end without explaning what they were going to set up.

Hopefully I will get an account. If so I will let you know.

just a suggestion...i thought i signed up when all i did was provide payment. make sure you have payment confirmation or go back and hit that infamous submit button.

So is Auctiva not free anymore, must we pick a plan that costs?

Why cant I upload images I have signed up for the 9.95 plan and have 1.2 gig of picturews I expect to have to pay extra but it stll wont uplaod my new pictures I have set up automatic payment through Paypal

I had this problem and after a full day of e mails with no help from Support someone suggested I reload Java and that seamed to fix it.
