Why is the shipping so high?

Shipping prices are something that the seller sets. Auctiva has nothing to do with shipping costs. We do offer shipping insurance but again that is something the seller sets on each listing.

Make sure to check your listing for misentered information and also for good measure check your eBay settings for shipping.

If you don't find anything out of the ordinary, file a support request with us (link at the bottom of our Help page) so our customer support can take a look at your listing.

Thanks I found my mistake, can you give buyer a choice of insuring or not?

Yes - Auctiva Shipping Insurance works exactly like any other insurance you would offer except you make money.

You can make it required, optional or not offer it at all. The buyers pays the same price as any other insurance policy, you pay us the discounted price and keep the difference. All the options are on the lister but you should specify that you would like to use Auctiva Shipping Insurance on this settings page http://www.auctiva.com/account/inssettings.aspx.
