Hi. I listed 3 items on Auctiva to start between 5-6 PM. 5 hours later, they show up in my eBay active items but not in any searches. Why is this???? Is this a ploy by eBay to get sellers not to use Auctiva to list items?
I love 'most' things about Auctiva, but such a huge delay is hard to handle. If it is totally predictable, I can live with it.
Right now, my main concern is the auction ending time, but I want to see what eBay buyers are seeing ASAP.
Any help, please?
Thanks.....Grandot

This is Ebay's indexing and it will happen whether you use Auctiva or not. As far as seeing what your potential buyers will see, just click on one of your listings in 'my ebay'. If they're not in 'my ebay' that means they haven't posted at all....

BTW your auction ending time will still be exactly 7 days from the start time (even if they weren't searchable yet)
It does typically take about 5-6 hours for them to show up. I know eBay is working on some things to try and shrink that again. They used to have it at about 1 hour a few years ago. But as they started combating fraud more it takes longer. I think their servers are capable of getting them into search within 1 hour still but it's mainly the checks for fraud that is keeping it closer to 6 hours for now.

Your listings should end normally at the time you started them at. So you have to ask is it more important that they be visible at your start time or your end time, then schedule based on that. I think end time is more important so that means you're stuck listing them when you do and losing that initial 6 hours of visibility in search.
I had the same problem today - over 6 hours and the listing still hadn't showed. I contacted Ebay via live help and put in a complaint about Ebay discriminating against Auctiva users and hey presto - my listing showed up immediately! Note..when using Turbo Lister my listings show up immediately. I've not yet had one go up straight away with Auctiva. I suggest you put in a complaint to Ebay if it keeps happening.
