A few weeks ago, I read a couple of different postings asking if it was possible to edit a closed listing before relisting it. In both cases, the Auctiva response was that feature would be available with the update that was scheduled for late September. Well, the update didn't include that capability. It added the ability to schedule the relisting, but that was about it. Is there anyone else out there that would love to have this capability? Any chance Auctiva will add this feature anytime soon?

After scheduling the relist, the listing appears on your "scheduled" listings page with a "edit listing" button. However, clicking the button merely opened a new listing page, rather than the scheduled listing. So I was only able to revise the limited number of items according to Auctiva Jim's post. Maybe it was just me - Grandmabenny, were you able to open the entire listing for revising? or is this a glitch that needs correcting?

Yes. My entire listing opened just like it does when I edit on eBay. I wish I could help you more but I have no idea why mine would work and yours would not. Maybe someone out there knows the answer.

Hi Communtiy,

As many of you have noticed, there is currently a bug in our system that causes a blank lister page to open if you use the "Edit Listing" button on your "Scheduled Listings" page to edit a relist that is currently scheduled to post. This problem has been referred to our engineering department and should be fixed as part of our next minor site update, which will take place this coming Wednesday.

In the mean time, if you click the title of the scheduled relist you would like to revise on your "Scheduled" listings page, you will be presented with the revision options that are available for relisted items.

Hi Eddstuff,

Yes, your understanding is correct. The only information that can be edited when relisting through Auctiva is the title, quantity, start price, Buy it Now price, reserve price, and duration. We're not currently planning on updating our site to allow the editing of item descriptions during the relisting process, but I'll pass that request on to our developers as a suggestion.

Once you have relisted an item through Auctiva, you can revise the description and seller details content by using eBay's "Revise your Item" form. You'll just need to click the "Standard" tab on the description editor, and you'll then be able to make the desired changes using your keyboard, cursor, and the editor toolbar.
