Yep! Another "Can't Find My Listing" Thread!! HELP PLEASE!!!!

Be patient Jeff this is called Indexxing and your items will show in a regular search in about 2 hours. If you search the forum here for indexing you will find many mentions of this

It's been 2 hrs for 1, the other was listed 4hrs + ago! So, by using Auctiva, I can plan to loose 2-4 or more hours of my listing time?!? I guess I can accept this, but it would be nice to know up front when registering!!

Jeff, unfortunately this happens even if you list strictly through ebay...however, they ARE getting a little faster (it used to take some of my listings 12 hours to show in a search). This might have something to do with it, see here:

In the article, Nicola Sharpe states, "To improve this for our sellers, we've made the change to ensure listings become visible at the top of Browse listings pages and in "newly listed" sort option as soon as they are made visible in Search, regardless of the time when they were listed."
This does not seem the case. Isn't she saying that "delayed" items are posted at the top of the page?? It has "Featured Items" at the top. Maybe they should add a "Sort By" menu option for delayed items??!?

BTW- They're still not showing up!!!!

Here's a thought! Can't they add to their program that when an item is indexed, the timer is automatically reset?!?!?!?! I could be wrong, but that seems pretty simple!!

I know, it's extremely frustrating! Good idea to automatically reset the timer, btw, but even tho ebay has a suggestion box for it's users, I'm sure they don't even read it.
