ok so it's my first time already

but not once, twice or three times, but FOUR times I had a listing show NO ERRORS and FAILED TO POST due to a listing error--a different one each time until I got to the 1 day listing thingeee--oops, so that is not even an option? Well it was on YOUR software--so I checked it. Then I changed it to 3 days--and saved and tried to post--but again got the error "1 day listing not available" so in other words your software completely failed to recognize that I had made the change--oh the change WAS in the system--it clearly showed a 3 day listing but your software is incapable of recognizing that a change was made.

So out of 5 or 6 attempts to post the same listing FAILED, I gave up and went to ebay and did it manually--that worked just fine. Then I checked my email and guess what? Guess what? Wanna guess? C'mon guess.

Yep, your software actually DID Post TWO of those listings that it told me were REJECTED. SO goodie, now I have a TOTAL OF THREE postings for the same listing, all posted within 30 minutes.

You bunch of eggheads. Who wrote this software? Much more--who the heck is in charge of fixing it? And when do they get back from vacation??

Thanks but no thanks--this is a bunch of aggrevation I do NOT need.

I have actually had similar situationS with Ebay listings area where the error on Ebay was "Server did not respond....try again later". Replicated the auction 3 times.....because it actually posted when giving me an error using JUST EBAY's Listing area. A couple things to check. If you get the error....wait a couple minutes and refresh your ebay page to check to see if it actually posted. If it's just a matter of 1 day vs. 7 days, you can simply go to Ebay and revise to 7 days. I've been a Network Enggineer (spelled correctly) for over 20 years, and I'll be the first to tell you that no software is perfect, NOT Ebay's or Auctiva's, but maybe Auctiva software experienced the same problem I had using Ebay's Listing Area. I learned to wait up to 10 minutes, then checked MY EBAY to see if it actually posted.

Did you fill out a customer help ticket? Or did you do a search via the forums? Or have you checked the stickies to find out what answers have already been posted?

Auctiva has worked for me for almost a year. Plus customer service is top notch and will answer your questions if a ticket is filled out and sent.

If after doing research and/or filled out a help ticket..you're still not pleased, I'd advise doing some research. eBay has a site with third party services for auctions. There you will find plenty of other third party services that might enjoy having you bless them with your auctions.

Donna

Nothing inflammatory, purely factual dude.

Here is a fact. The 3 errors you had were due to you not filling in required items specifics fields. The last was choosing a duration that wasn't valid.

The duplicate listings were because you did a post now, and then scheduled it for 15 minutes later perhaps. That should allow you enough time to figure out our site, list some more, and see that I'm right.

It's impossible for us to duplicate listings. With each listing we provide eBay an unique code which prevents any possiblity of listing the same scheduled listing twice. If we posted items twice do you have any idea how many irate sellers we'd have posting here in the forums about that?

I've set your posting rights to be moderated for a month, you may post again in a month. That should give you enough time to list some more items on our site and see that I'm right.
